the beauty of this alchemy

falling out -- upon re-entryi thought even though  we were crazy   
it would have lasted somehow   
from the first time you strolled in my door  to the last in which you left   
we knew we were screwed   
i recall we even said to one another   
"you will be the one that kills me"   
i see you now  driving off in your car   
your windshield reflecting the trees   
the rain drops beaded up on your paint job   
the smell of this fall day  
and the memory of summer just behind   
i can not see  just what it was i saw then... that night   
ca falling out -- upon re-entry

I want to take some time out of our day  to share some of our stories  to give thanks, if you will  to all the legends and masters  who have helped ease us into our awareness of one another  of everything around us here   
like the way you start telling your tales  and then in mid sentence run off  to see what that falling star was saying   
I too get distracted from my practices like this   
when you give me a poem  I draw lines across the whole page  vertical and horizontal  to section it off  much like an exca Legends and Masters
